Metal! Live In Bahrain - Album Release December 2019

Metal! Live In Bahrain is a live compilation album featuring original music by four of the Arabian Gulf's heaviest bands. The project was put together by Hani Taqi of Studio 77 Bahrain who recorded and mixed all songs. The album contains 72 minutes of live music and was recorded at various venues in Bahrain over a three year period from 2016 to 2019. This is the underground in Bahrain.

Featuring:

Bloodshel: Inspired by legendary pillars of heavy metal such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Dio and Saxon this four-piece is well known for their energetic and electrifying stage presence as well as intricate musical melodies that take listeners back to the golden age of heavy metal. Bloodshel released their debut album 'Phase One' in 2018 and is currently working on their sophomore release.

Motör Militia: Formed in 2001, Motör Militia is one of Bahrain's premier heavy metal bands. They are heavily influenced by classic Thrash Metal bands such as Kreator and Overkill as well as modern Speed Metal bands such as Warbringer and Havok. They have performed in India and the UAE as well as spearheading the live Metal scene in Bahrain. Their 2018 album 'World In Flames' is available on all digital music platforms.

Smouldering In Forgotten: The band was formed in 2005, originally as a black metal band, but today stands proudly as Bahrain’s most explosive extreme metal act. The group’s aggressive and atmospheric sound is inspired by a range of influences including black metal, death metal, and thrash, but also ethnic Arabian music and a rich culture of story-telling and art. Their debut album 'Legions Into Black Flames' was released in 2007 followed by their second full-length 'I, Devourer' in 2010. Their third album 'Invictus Mortem' will be released in March 2020.

Creative Waste: Creative Waste is a grindcore band from the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The band was formed in 1999 by Essam (guitars) and brothers Fawaz (vocals) and Talal (drums). The band experimented with a plethora of different styles until they chose the path of extreme metal, Grindcore and Death Metal. Creative Waste released their first demo 'Colonies' in 2005, followed by their first EP 'Cruelty Beyond Conception' in 2007 and their first full length 'Slaves to Conformity' in 2012. After a decade of playing local shows the band was able to become the first Saudi band to perform overseas marking their first shows in New York City and Houston in the United States in 2010, followed by appearances at the well-established 'Maryland Death Fest' in 2011 and 2014. Creative Waste also performed at the Obscene Extreme Festival in 2012, 2013 and 2017. Their latest album is set to be released in 2020.

Metal! Live In Bahrain also includes a bonus track by Bahrain-based hard-rockers 'M.U.S.T.' which was recorded live at Studio 77.

Upside of this CD being is its dynamite with the vast amount of different metal genres appearing it. It’s quite flavourful, never a dull moment with the constant change from track to track, that leaves the listener in astonishment. ” - Nathan McLeod, Metal To Infinity Webzine
